TOTAL PROJECT COST

$5.9 Million

Impact

50 units built, over 100 women served

We helped a mental health center develop housing for women recovering from substance abuse.

This $5.9 million project built 38 units to house 100 women in the initial stages of recovery. On the same campus, a 12-unit permanent supportive housing program was built for women suffering from dual diagnoses who will require ongoing support.

Project financing included a $500K grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati's Affordable Housing Program, $429K in Annual Housing Credits, $150K from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund, and $312K in HOME Investment Partnership Program funds. The Housing Credits generated $3.8M of investor equity.

In addition, we helped Pennyroyal Community Apartments continue to provide supportive housing through Affordable Housing Trust Funds, HOME funds, and Kentucky Housing Corporation SMAL Program Funds.
